There are certain players who are not contented with just a single table game and want something more. Multi table Sit'n Go games are for them. They promise much more fun and extreme excitement, plus loads of money, if you are armed with the right online poker strategy.

Size of the table.
The most popular size of multi table Sit'n Go is the 2-table one having 18-20 players. Next comes the 5-table Sit'n Go accommodating 45-50 players! Then there the 3-table and the 4-table ones too that are not so common among the players. No matter how many players are there at the table, the strategy is more or less the same.

Payouts.
The amount of payout offered varies with the sites. The following are some good grabs:

  • For 2-table, payouts are for top 3-4 places
  • For 3-table, payouts are for top 5 places
  • For 5-table, payouts are for top 7-8 places

At the beginning of the game.
The beginning of the game calls for a tight-aggressive style of playing. The first two levels harbor blinds that are too low, hence, you can fold everything, except premium hands. At this time, it's better to save your chips and refrain from bluffing.

However, there is something different here. Unlike the normal Sit'n Go games, if you get a chance to go all in the pre-flop early and you think you are ahead. Grab the chance. You would ask why. It is because this game is going to restrict the amount of hands you can see before are blinded away. In normal games, you could wait for later stage before you were compelled to go all in; however, here the scenario is quite different.

Suppose you have an AJ in the big blind and the player in dealer position is quite aggressive. It is folded to the player in dealer position who goes all in. The blinds are quite low as compared to the player's bet, so you won't be getting a good pot. But, as the aggressive dealer player is playing fanatical and you possess a decent hand, it's no harm in calling this bet and trying to double up in the beginning of the game. Remember; in a normal game, we would never advise you to make this move, however, this is multi table and you have to grab chips quickly. Therefore, you must make this call.

As the game proceeds, you will find that the levels are raising quickly, generally 5-10 minutes per level. You have to play further to make smart gambles and build a stack for later stages of the game, if you find any all in situations in which you feel confident enough to move ahead, it's the right time to make the call. This will give you a sizeable stack.

In the middle of the game.
As you go on building your stack, the players that are left at the table will get knocked one by one due to high level of blind pressure. The final stage of the table is a difficult situation. As the two tables are shorthanded ones, you are going to experience extreme blind pressure. If you already possess a sizeable stack, you can afford to play semi-conservative. This way, you can have a good stack at the final stage of the game. However, if you possess just an average, beware; the stack blinds will crush you! You have to make clever blind steals to save your stack until a player is knocked out of the game to give you a clear path to reach the final stage of the table.

For example, you hold a QJ in the big blind. You possess 3500 chips whereas the small blind holds 4000 chips. Remember: blinds are 300/600 and are folded to the small blind, who makes the calls. Who is a small blind? Well, it is a somewhat conservative player, who does not raise pots frequently. Actually, the small blind is a player who simply limped in. Thus, you can make out that he or she holds a weak hand. If you attempt to raise it to 1800, the small blind will be compelled to call 1200 more. There is no choice for him or her but to play the hand out of position, risking a massive amount of chips. That's the reason, such a player always tend to fold. Pad your stack through clever steals and bring yourself in a strong position for the final stage of the table.

At the end of the game.
The final stage is quite interesting. The blind pressure will decrease, as the table is almost filled. Thus, blinds will seldom enter. Although blind pressure goes down, there are still a high number of blinds, so most hands tend to be a pre-flop all in. In order to grab chips here, you must continue to make steals, and at the same time, change gears to grab pots.

Here is one effective tactic to throw out your opponent out of the game. Suppose there is one extremely aggressive player who is raising each and every pot that no player has touched. You have QQ in the dealer position while the aggressive player holds the big blind. Now, if you are smart, you would simply limp in rather than making a raise. This is because the aggressive big blind will make an effort to steal by going all in. When this happens, you should make a call and crush him or her. This sit'n go strategy will give you tons of chips, as opposed to making a blind raise and have each one fold.

If you possess a huge stack, you should make conservative moves until you grab a substantial amount of cash to guarantee yourself a good finish. Once the game gets shorthanded with 3-5 people left at the table, you have to become very aggressive in your moves to grab sizeable chips for heads up.
